Product Manager
We are working with a company on the Eastside that’s hiring a Growth Product Manager for their surveillance line — but here’s the interesting part:
They don’t necessarily want someone with a traditional Product Manager background. They want someone who has been in the field.
Someone who understands the products because they’ve actually worked with them.
What they’re looking for:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with surveillance, VMS, or IP camera systems
- Backgrounds in sales engineering, field support, integration, installation, or technical support are all welcome
- Real hardware experience with cameras, recorders, and door controllers
- Comfortable working directly with customers and integrators
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to dig into data and form a point of view
Details:
- $110K–$125K base + 12–15% annual bonus
- They’ll teach you the Product Management side of the role
- Weekly coaching from a leader who made this exact field-to-product transition
- Direct influence on the product roadmap with the HQ product team from day one
- Hybrid in Bellevue — 3 days in office
- Up to 20% travel
- Professional development budget
- Long-term opportunity to take ownership of additional product lines
If you’ve spent your career installing, integrating, supporting, selling, or engineering surveillance technology and have ever thought, “I could make this product better,” this could be a really interesting next step.
You don’t need to have been a Product Manager. You need to understand the problem.
