Staff Accountant

We are hiring a Staff Accountant | Hybrid Office Model (can be located in Fife or Mill Creek).

Our employer client is a highly respected and community-centered roofing company serving the greater Puget Sound for nearly 30 years.

They are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented financial Professional to grow with them and handle general accounting operations. You would be working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where you must be a self-starter, able to work autonomously, and be a team player to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

Manage monthly close process, driving material efficiencies

Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions with GAAP

General ledger maintenance, monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparations

Assist with annual audit as needed

You have:

2+ years accounting experience

AA or BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business

Knowledge of and proficiency using Accounting and CRM systems; experience with Sage is a plus

Strongly proficient with Microsoft Suite and Excel

Capable of understanding laws and regulations for doing business in multiple states

Compensation and Benefits:

$60,000-$70,000 salary
