Technical Account Manager (Virginia)

We are partnering with a team on a unique sales opportunity based in the Reston area that blends relationship-driven selling with technical exposure—a great fit for someone who enjoys both sides of the equation.

This role sits on the Sales team, working closely with key channel partners to manage warm, inbound leads from initial quote through close. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is naturally curious about how things work behind the scenes (think storage, networking, and system design)

- No cold calling — all partner-driven, inbound opportunities
- High-volume, high-impact environment (30+ daily follow-ups, thousands of projects annually)
- Exposure to technical concepts like backup technologies, NAS, and networking protocols
- Strong mix of sales execution + technical learning

What they’re looking for:
- 3–5 years in account management, tech sales, or closing roles
- Experience managing an active pipeline and closing deals
- Strong organization and attention to detail- Knowledge and understanding of hardware/networking

Comp & perks:
- $80K–$90K base + $105K–$115K OTE
